Slow Sixteenth

So I'm not actually in Kenya yet, but preparations have gone into full swing. Now that the Pinson Wedding is done and done (p.s. best weekend ever), this whole thing is becoming way more of a reality...

This summer I'm working at udwell in nola. The recent rainstorms + the economy (the catchall culprit) = business is super slow and I'm spending way too much time on NOT work: twitter (don't make fun), fb, google searching anything and everything. About an hour ago, I actually typed in "indestructible flash drive" you know, just for fun. For those of you that want to store data in high shock and high static environments, there's actually something out there for you! Ha.

Today I also heard from my good friend Mike Wachira who I met in Nairobi two years ago. He has since moved to Uganda to become Regional Director of Christian Sports Contact, which I'll hopefully be working with in the fall. He is a jokester and an artist, and I can't wait to hang out with him again.

I also downloaded lots of free music from the Amazon Music Store. Seriously- did you know there are hundreds of free songs on there, just for the taking?? Jackpot! Favorites: Fireflies by Chris Garneau; My Only Offer by Mates of State. Do it!
